The Asus Vivobook 15 has a 15.6-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 Full High Definition (FHD) display, this laptop has very thin bezels on either side, with a bit more at the top to accommodate the webcam. The webcam is 720p which is of average quality, and not the best if you will be streaming your gaming experience live.

The laptop specification I will be discussing in this article is the one with the Ryzen 7700 U processor, 16GB of Ram, AMD Radon graphics. It has a 1 TB hard drive and a PCIe 256 GB solid-state drive. Also, it does have the latest WiFi Six as well as Bluetooth 50 standards.
You can tell that Vivobook 15 comes with some decent specifications that make is to stand out among other midrange priced laptops.

Asus has a good reputation for making laptops that last for a long time. The Asus Vivobook 15 is no exception.
Depending on the type of game you’re playing on the laptop, on average, the laptop battery can last between 2 to 5 hours when fully charged.
However, if you’re using the laptop at 50% brightness while doing low-intense activities like web browsing, you can get up to 13.5 hours on a single full charge.
Is the Asus Vivobook 15 Laptop Thermals good for Gaming?
In terms of the laptop having good thermals for gaming, the Asus Vivobook laptop is great in that aspect. The laptop can hit an average surface temperature of about 44 degrees Celsius with a peak load, which really isn’t that bad, but a more realistic sustained load will hit around 38 to 39 degrees Celsius.
Also, under idle loads, this laptop easily drops all the way down to 24 to 23 degrees Celsius. The fan noise is also very nice for a laptop that can hit all the way to 44 degrees Celsius. The fan doesn’t go off that often. Overall, the Asus Vivobook thermals are quite decent.
Is the Asus Vivobook 15 Laptop Keyboard good for Gaming?
The Asus Vivobook 15 laptop keyboard is seriously disappointing for gaming. The keyboard has very few key spaces; the keys feel cheap and the keycaps feel like they’re wobbling every now and then. To make matters worse, the laptop does not have a backlighting feature.
Overall, the Vivobook 15 keyboard does not provide a good experience for gaming.

The Asus Vivobook 15 is a good laptop for casual gamers, but it doesn’t have the best specs that will provide you with an enjoyable gaming experience. The laptop resource can not handle games that require high intense resources such as playing Far Cry 6 without having to compromise on the settings.
