Samsung Electronics has begun the official rollout of One UI 9 to the Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra, the current flagship bar phones that sit above earlier Ultra models such as the Galaxy S22 Ultra. The company said the software brings a smoother experience across form factors and richer Galaxy AI tools for capturing, personalising, and managing everyday phone use.

Security sits in the same story. Security Brief folds malware alerts, unknown-source apps, and unnecessary permissions into Now Brief. Privacy Alerts use on-device AI to flag risky background permission access. Scam Detection expands to more countries and languages; Samsung names Japan, Canada, and India among supported markets for that protection.

Many of these features need a Samsung Account, and Samsung stresses that availability can vary by country, language, carrier, and model. Accuracy caveats apply to AI results such as FanCam tracking and Now Brief content.
