Google Plans to Customize Android to Compete More with iPhone

Google plans to customize Android by adding more new features to the its operating system in other to better differentiate its Nexus mobile devices from those offered by the mobile-phone tech giant (Apple Inc).

Although there are lots of speculation as to whether Google will end up building its own phone; but interestingly, Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai has motioned at the Recode’s Code Conference, that they wants to “put a lot more thought” into the Nexus devices by customising the Android Operating System.

As of today; Google’s Android is still the world’s largest mobile operating system, and it’s currently licensed for free to handset makers such as Samsung Electronics, LG Electronics, Lenovo Group and others.

But based on user experiences, some still believes that Android phones are more difficult to use, and that they are sometimes less capable than Apple’s iPhones.
